Managing risk worldwide

Established in 1864, DNV is an independent foundation with the objective of safeguarding life, property, and the environment and is a leading international provider of services for managing risk.

DNV has been in Malaysia since 1982. All of the services relating to ship and offshore classification, certification, verification, inspection, consulting, asset integrity management and health-safety & environment services are provided from its offices in the central business district of Kuala Lumpur located at Level 24, Menara Weld, 76 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Tel:+603 2050 2888).

Our main customers are the oil & gas operators, shipping companies and power utility companies. Key customers include Petronas, Exxonmobil, Shell, Talisman, Murphy Oil, Nippon Oil, Technip, Ranhill Worley, MMC Oil & Gas, Akerkvaerner, Tenaga Nasional, Starcruises, Malaysia International Shipping Corp & Barbership.

DNV is a recognised inspection authority under the Malaysian Factories & Machinery Act.
