[11/10/2006] News on the first CERs issued to our project in Lumut
DNV has certified the first emission-reduction credits under the Kyoto Protocol in South-East Asia. These credits, which were issued by the Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism on 5th October 2006 are for the Biomass Energy Plant in Lumut, Malaysia.

Sago Plant received ISO22000:2005 Certification in Malaysia by DNV. Song Ngeng Sago Industries (E.M.) Sdn. Bhd. achieved a first when it was awarded ISO22000:2005 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) recently.

[13/06/2006] Vietnam hospitals conferred ISO 9001:2000 status
The Eye Hospital and the intensive care unit of the Nguyan Tri Phoung Hospital in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, have both received ISO 9001:2000 quality management certificates from DNV.

[10/05/2006] World’s first in Taiwan
Sunmax Biotechnology has become the first company in the world to receive the CE Medical Devices Directive certification for collagen implant products. DNV awarded the certificate to the Taiwan-based company, which sees it as a gateway to international markets.
